Craig Bida | chief marketing officer

Craig is an expert business, branding, and communications strategist with 20+ years experience creating economic and social value for leading global brands. This includes 11+ years in marketing and brand management at Procter & Gamble, and 4+ years as EVP at Cone Communications, a leading marketing and PR agency. Craig has worked with leading corporate and nonprofit clients including FedEx, Disney, Hilton Worldwide, Purina, Kenneth Cole, Northwestern Mutual, The National Park Service, Massachusetts Institute of Technology, Sierra Club, American Heart Association, the USO, and Farm Aid. Earlier in his career, Craig led planning and development of public/private redevelopment initiatives for the New York City Department of Housing Preservation & Development. Craig is a Senior Fellow in Social Innovation at Babson College. Craig earned a BA and MBA from Yale University, and an MA from the University of Vermont.

 

Todd Bida | board president

Todd is a business development and strategic partnership expert passionate about delivering great products and services that build strong economic & social value. He has 20+ years global experience identifying and building partnerships, and developing new revenue opportunities for Fortune 500, established, and startup companies. This includes business development and leadership roles at inStream Media, Atlatl Software, Upromise, and Lehman Brothers, and consulting work with a range of companies including Bell Canada, NCR, Kraft, and PepsiCo. Via groundbreaking partnerships with Procter & Gamble and Johnson & Johnson, Todd drove the growth of the Upromise college savings platform, which has helped 30 million Americans plan and pay for higher education. He also has 15+ years experience supporting startups through the Consulate of Switzerland, The Cleantech Open, and various Board of Director and Advisor roles.  Todd earned a BA from Harvard University, and an MBA from Yale University. 

 

Crystal Kingery | VP, Product marketing

Crystal is a product development expert with 15+ years experience in software product design, software development, and project management. As the co-founder of a woman and veteran-owned small business, Crystal understands firsthand the struggles and rewards small business owners face, and is passionate about creating tools to help them succeed. Crystal’s experience includes development of software requirements for an enterprise SaaS technology platform for Benefitfocus, a leading provider of cloud-based software solutions serving 25+ million consumers. Crystal has worked in the government sector for the State of California to develop an automated RFP process for First 5 San Bernardino, a state agency focused on early childhood health and education. Crystal earned a BA from California State University.

Doug Rutnik | founder, Head of sales, head of government affairs

Doug is multi-sector expert with 20+ years experience at the intersection of business and government. Doug has advised executive teams on driving growth through public sector involvement, including navigation of New York State (NYS) Government, its 50 Agencies and Authorities, Empire State Development economic development strategies, and minority and women owned business enterprise (MWBE) rules and regulations. Doug has worked extensively with MWBE subcontractors to access contracting opportunities with NYS Agencies and Authorities, as well as directly with Prime contractors. Doug has been retained as a lobbyist and public sector business development consultant by a wide range of companies, providing strategic counsel on government relations, compliance and procurement. Doug earned a BA from Hamilton College.
