As the world gathers today to honor the legacy of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr., we ask: How will you take action to address the long-standing decline in diverse business participation in the economy?
In 2020 we see the widening income and wealth inequality in minority communities, inequality that is partially driven by failure of the larger society to demand the inclusion of minority businesses in the greater local, state, regional, and national economies. AS we honor the work of Dr. King, and so many others, we must all work better together to create an inclusive economic ecosystem where all have the opportunity to participate, compete, and thrive.
